Women Sub Committee celebrated International Women's Day in a purposeful manner
Under the banner of Northern Zone Insurance Employees’ Association, Women Sub Committee Celebrated 113th International Women's Day in a purposeful manner by donating five ceiling fans, four water tampers and grocery materials to Ludhiana based NGO Ek Jot Viklang Seva Sambhal Kendra.

Ludhiana, March 12, 2023: Under the banner of Northern Zone Insurance Employees’ Association, Women Sub Committee Celebrated 113th International Women's Day in a purposeful manner by donating five ceiling fans, four water tampers and grocery materials to Ludhiana based NGO Ek Jot Viklang Seva Sambhal Kendra.
Ritu Aban, convenor of the women's sub-committee, while giving information through a press release, said that LIC Women Employees, irrespect of their cadre are celebrating this day since 2006. She further said that Ek Jot Viklang Sewa Sambal Kendra is taking care of 60 who are handicapped, retarded, deaf & dumb and blind children.
Satwant Kaur, President, Ek Jot Viklang Sewa Sambal Kendra, expressed her gratitude to the Women Sub-Committee and requested for cooperation in future also.
Apart from this, while giving information, Ritu Aban said that a meeting was organized among the women working in LIC at the Divisional Office in Dugri where Suman Lata, Principal, Government College for Girls, Ludhiana was chief guest. In her inspiring speech, Suman Lata praised LIC women for the incomparable social work being done by them.
The meeting was also addressed by Sonam Chhewang, Marketing Manager.
While congratulating & giving special thanks to the chief guest, Amarjiy Singh, President, said that of course the situation is changing today but still women are yet to get their rights.
