Jalandhar, October 29, 2014: Self-confidence rises out of a sense of competence. In other words, kids develop confidence not because parents or teachers tell them they're great, but because of their achievements, big and small. Building self-confidence can begin very early. When babies learn to turn the pages of a book or toddlers learn to walk, they are getting the idea "I can do it!" With each new skill and milestone, kids can develop increasing confidence.

At Ivy World School, it is firmly believed that each and every child is a star and deserves the right to twinkle. And when they are given these opportunities through role plays, story narration etc. their self confidence and morale boosts up.

Under absolute motivation and leadership of Principal S Chauhan, various role enactments were performed : Students of Grade 1 (Ebony) performed a role play wherein they spoke about different parts of a plant and also the edible parts of a plant. Grade 1 (Gulmohar) performed a role play on various habitats and food of animals. Grade 1(Palm) students came up with a role enactment on the story ‘ The Hare and the Tortoise’ where they performed as different animals and thus made the environment so cheerful through their wonderful efforts. Through all these activities, zeal developed in them to be close to the nature and to protect it.

Such role plays and enactments not only help them academically but also increase the self confidence, morale and also develop in them moral values and sense of social responsibility.
