Workshop on career awareness

Jalandhar, October 12, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya has been ceaselessly endeavouring for the holistic development of its students. Keeping with the trend, PG Department of Commerce & Business Administration organized a one day workshop on Career Awareness in collaboration with Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
The resource persons for this workshop were CS Amit Vinayak, CS Charu Vinayak, CS Mohit Saluja and their support staff from the institute. Mr Amit Vinayak commenced the proceedings of the workshop by acquainting the students with the career prospects after CA and CS courses and the requirements of the corporate sector. He motivated the students to become focussed and goal oriented and thereby steer their efforts in the right direction. Citing examples from real life, he made his discourse very interactive and participative. He also addressed various queries of students in a very lucid manner.
Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that the students gained a lot from this workshop as it supplemented the theoretical teaching in classes with the practical exposure. She also lauded the efforts of PG Department of Commerce & Business Administration for organizing such events.
