Workshop on e-business organized at Apeejay College of Fine Arts

Jalandhar, October 10, 2019: A 5 day workshop on E-business was organized by Department of Commerce in Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar.
Kush Bhardwaj, Corporate Trainer, IIM, Indore acted as a key resource person. He is a professional with years of experience in Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship and E-Commerce. He is a consultant to lot of Indian and International startups. He enlightened the students with different aspects of Digital Marketing, Blog Writing, Search Engine Optimization, Business Plan Making and its Presentation. Students enthusiastically participated in this workshop. They prepared Business Plan and wrote comprehensive reports on the same. Several fresh and unique ideas like recycling waste hair in saloons, trading of organic grocery, e-laundry service, ways to handle pollution, 3D printed homes, innovation in delivery services and desi meals on wheels were discussed during the workshop.
Certificates of merit were provided to six students on the basis of their excellent contribution and participation in the workshop. The students were – Shalini, Prateek, Ambrish, Kashyap, Shriya, Saloni and Madhav.
Principal Dr.Sucharita Sharma congratulated the winners and opined that in today’s time people are heavily dependent on Digital Marketing; so this leads to more opportunities of employment in this sector especially for students of Commerce. She appreciated the efforts of Dr.Manisha Sharma and Ms. Simrandeep Kaur for smoothly conducting the workshop.
