Jalandhar, April 16, 2022: Department of Biotechnology, School of Life Sciences of Doaba College Jalandhar organized a DBT, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India sponsored Hands on workshop on Eliza Test.
Dr. Sunik Malik, Research Scientist, Viral Research & Diagnostic laboratory (VRDL) Govt. of Punjab (GADVASU, Ludhiana) & Managing Director, DS Diagnostic laboratory graced the occasion as resource person. He was accorded a hearty welcome by Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, Prof KK Yadav, Dr. Rajiv Khosla, Coordinator, along with 60 students.
Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, in his address, elaborated that such hands-on learning experiences play a cardinal role as value addition in strengthening the bench skill as well as professional scientific potential of the students.
Dr. Sunik Malik discussed in detail about the relevance of timely detection of Hepatitis B with the help of Eliza assay test . Prof. Arvind Nanda, Dr. Arshdeep Singh, Dr. Ashwani Kumar and Dr. Rakesh Kumar were also present.
