Workshop for Educators on the Topic, “Lesson Planning and Student Engagement and Assessment of Learning " at Ivy World School
Ivy World School, Jalandhar under the aegis of the Vasal Education Society conducted a professional development two-day workshop titled ‘Lesson Planning and Student Engagement and Assessment of Learning’ on June 27-28, with the aim of learning new skills and adopting better teaching practices.
Jalandhar, June 28, 2024: Ivy World School, Jalandhar under the aegis of the Vasal Education Society conducted a professional development two-day workshop titled ‘Lesson Planning and Student Engagement and Assessment of Learning’ on June 27-28, with the aim of learning new skills and adopting better teaching practices.
An extremely stimulating and enriching workshop was addressed by the eminent resource persons, Dr. Namrata Sakhrani and Swati. The resource persons through their extensive expertise and pragmatic insights provided the educators with invaluable knowledge about Importance of Lesson Planning, Components of Lesson Plans, Curricular Goals, Different Pedagogical Approaches, Teaching Strategies, Assessment of Learning etc. The educators exhibited great eagerness as they attentively listened to the resource person, actively engaging in the four-hour workshop, ensuring enriched educational experience and contribute to the positive transformation of teaching and learning process. All the Educators teaching Grade Nursery-12th attended the workshop. Patiently addressing the queries of enthusiastic educators, the affable resource person through her intellect, guidance and clarity, ensured that every doubt was resolved. Towards the end, feedback forms were filled out.
The President of Vasal Education Society, K.K. Vasal, The Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, The Vice President Ena Vasal, The CEO Mr. Raghav Vasal, and The Director Aditi Vasal said that learning is a never ending journey so educators must take advantage of these opportunities to learn every day and these workshops are valuable opportunities for educators to create a comfortable and conducive learning environment.
The Senior Principal, S. Chauhan, said that the workshop proved to be valuable in equipping educators with practical techniques to enhance their teaching approaches.
