Jalandhar, May 27, 2016: DIPS Institute of Management and Technology, Jalandhar in association with Taranjit Singh and Associates conducted one-day workshop on Government of India Budget 2016 and Insight to Tax Planning at Conference Hall, DIPS-IMT on Friday.
The workshop was part of Industry Student Education Program. The following topics were covered during the workshop: Introduction to Budget 2016 by CA Taranjit Singh (Partner, Taranjit Singh & Associates, Jalandhar), Introduction to Taxation and Tax Planning, and application to fill online ITR’s by CA Gaganjot Kaur. The main aim of the workshop was to expose students of Management and Commerce to get the know-how to visualize the government budget and it’s after effects in the economic growth, GDP and curbing revenue deficit.
The program was inaugurated Dr. K.K. Handoo (Director Colleges, Dips Chain of Institution) and Dr. Simranjit Singh( Principal, DIPS-IMT). The program was organized by Mr. Navpreet Singh-Convener .
