Chandigarh, April 15, 2025: Centre for Public Health, Panjab University today organised a workshop on “Public Health Awareness on Raising Non Communicable Disease among Students’’ and on “Stress Management’’  at Mother Teresa Hall, Girls Hostel No. 6, Panjab University, Chandigarh.  

Navya and Neha MPH 2nd Year students, delivered lectures on the topics. Navya highlighted the effects of stress in today’s world and how to get relief from stress and manage the stress in busy schedule. Neha highlighted what are the symptoms of Non Communicable Disease and what precautions to take and how to prevent ourselves from Non Communicable Disease. 

The event was organised under the guidance of Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, Chairperson, Centre for Public Health and graced by Chief Guest Dr. Manisha Sharma Assistant Professor at Department of Mathematics, Panjab University, Chandigarh.  Dr. Paravreet Kaur and Dr. Poonam Sharma faculty at the Centre for Public Health also attended the workshop. 

The workshop provided an interactive platform, providing awareness of Stress Management and Raising Non Communicable Disease among Students.
