Workshop on Stem Cell Research and Regenerative Medicine Successfully Concludes 

Chandigarh, February 2025: A highly insightful workshop on "Stem Cell Research and Regenerative Medicine" was successfully conducted by Panjab University in collaboration with GIOSTAR USA, at GIOSTAR Hospital Chandigarh, Sector 82, Mohali, under the aegis of DBT-Builder Grant (Group 3), Panjab University, as an initiative for Industry- Academia collaboration.

The event provided an in-depth exploration of Mesenchymal Stem Cell Isolation & Culturing Techniques, drawing experts and participants from various scientific domains.
 
The workshop was led by Prof. Sanjeev Puri, Founder Coordinator of the Centre for Stem Cell & Tissue Engineering, Panjab University. It was graced by the presence of distinguished experts, including Dr. Krishna Raj (Head Scientist, GIOSTAR USA), Dr. Navdeep Sharma (Stem Cell Physician, GIOSTAR USA), and Joydeep Dasgupta (Director, India Project, GIOSTAR USA). The event was further supported by key organizers Dr. Seemha Rai (PI, DBT Builder Grant, Centre for Stem Cell Tissue Engineering & Biomedical Excellence, Panjab University) and Prof. Veena Puri (PI, DBT Builder Grant, Centre for Systems Biology and Bioinformatics, Panjab University).
 
The workshop covered critical aspects of stem cell research, including the principles of regenerative medicine, stem cell isolation, and culturing techniques. Participants engaged in interactive sessions, where they explored the latest advancements in stem cell technology and its therapeutic applications.
 
A diverse group of participants, including postgraduate students, research scholars, project assistant, clinicians, and faculty members, attended the workshop. The event concluded successfully, with attendees appreciating the comprehensive sessions, expert insights, and engaging discussions.
