Jalandhar, May 15, 2022: Centre for Historical Studies, under the aegis of PG Department of History at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organised workshop on the theme “How to make and present Power Point Presentation”.
Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra in his message appreciated the centre for organizing such knowledge boosting activities and also motivated the students to improve their creativity skills by learning and using the latest technology.
Dr. Suman Chopra, co-coordinator of the Centre and Head P.G. Department of History welcomed the students and the faculty members from the different departments. She made the students aware that the Power Point Presentation is one of the most popular software which adds more creativity and interactivity into the classroom. Moreover, it adds fun in teaching and the students enjoy the learning process.
In this workshop, the students of B.A. Semester IV Anisha, Paramjit Singh, Karandeep Singh, Disha Vij and Jaismeen explained how to create meaningful presentations and enhance the PowerPoint presentation skills. They explained various features of Power Point Presentation like animations, designs, addition of images and videos, Transitions, Slide Show etc.
Dr. Suman Chopra explained the necessary presentation skills to the students. In the interactive session, the queries of the students were successfully satisfied.
Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Dr. Karanbir Singh, Dr. Bhawna, Prof. Satpal Singh were also present on this occasion.
More than 40 students attended this workshop.
