Workshop to raise Funds for a Startup held

Mohali, May 31:  For addressing the funding requirements of startup founders, Startup Accelerator Chamber of Commerce, SACC India in association with Startup Punjab organised a workshop at Netsmartz Square Mohali  here today

Shashank Randev, the founder and venture capitalist of 100x.VC from Mumbai shared the insights on raising funds and mistakes to avoid with over 60 founders.

He advised strong passion and conviction about their product, and the ability to communicate their offerings in the shortest possible time should be there to generate interest amongst the investors.

Shashank Randev emphasized the need to overhire the team members who do not share the same understanding and commitment and also trying to create and sell a product which no one wants.

He said that the aim of his company is to encourage more and more young entrepreneurs especially from the incubators in colleges and universities in Punjab which would be the focus area of their work in the immediate future.

At this occasion over 60 founders were present from different parts of the city who came with their ideas for discussing with Shashank and prospecting funding with 100x VC.

Mr. Vineet Khurana, CEO of SACC India mentioned that this power-packed session with Shashank has brought a lot of clarity to the city-based founders on what it takes to make a startup investable. He added that SACC India has been putting great efforts for helping founders navigate through the journey of entrepreneurship.
