Chandigarh, November 25, 2023: Panjab University, Chandigarh conducted the five-days (November 20-24, 2023) workshop under GIAN, Global Initiative of Academic Networks entitled “Advanced Organic Synthesis and Catalysis for a Sustainable Future” sanctioned to Dr. Ramesh Kataria and Dr. Palani Natarajan, Department of Chemistry, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by the address of the registrar, Prof. Y. P. Verma, the Director RDC, Prof. Harsh Nayyar, and Director, SAIF CIL, Prof. Ganga Ram Chaudhary. The local coordinator GIAN, Prof. Gurjaspreet Singh welcomed the audience to the workshop.
The Prof. Oliver Reiser from University of Regensberg, Germany was the foreign faculty member who delivered the lectures.
The workshop had participants from Panjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh.
The workshop was successfully completed with positive feedback from the participants.
