World Anthropology Day celebrated at PU

Chandigarh, February 16, 2023: The Department of Anthropology, Panjab University Chandigarh today celebrated the World Anthropology Day. Every year since 2015, the third Thursday of February is celebrated as the World Anthropology Day and this year it is being celebrated on 16th February. The students of the department gave a presentation creating awareness about the origin of the subject and its evolution over the period of time in the presence of the faculty, Department of Anthropology. A healthy and informative discussion about the scope of anthropology and the steps to further enhance the opportunities in the field of anthropology between the students and the faculty members concluded the celebration.
