Chandigarh, April 23, 2022: World Earth Day was organized by Florence Nightingale Hall (GH-8) and Neerja Bhanot Hall (GH-10) of Panjab University, Chandigarh on 22th April. Dr. Simran Kaur (Warden GH-8) and Dr. Varinder Kaur (Warden, GH-10) celebrated the special day with the hostel residents in the hostel premises. Residents actively participated in slogan writing and wrote various slogans to preserve the mother earth. A plant adoption drive was also organized in which hostel residents adopted the plants and took pledge to take care the adopted plants. Some of the names of students who adopted plants are Parul, Manisha and Manya which was very encouraging for the other students who were present during the celebration.
