Chandigarh, April 21, 2025: The Department of IETVE (Institute of Educational, Technology, and Vocational Education) today celebrated World Innovation and Creativity Day with a vibrant showcase of ideas, ingenuity, and forward-thinking initiatives. The event highlighted the department's commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, problem-solving, and creative exploration among students and faculty.
The celebration began with a formal inauguration chairperson Dr. Amritpal Kaur who emphasised the pivotal role of creativity and innovation in addressing modern-day challenges across industries. She encouraged students to break conventional barriers and harness interdisciplinary thinking in their projects and learning endeavors.
In the spirit of the occasion, students took the initiative to design thought-provoking posters on themes such as technological advancements, sustainable innovation, creative education, and the future of work. These posters, displayed throughout the department Library, served as powerful visual narratives, sparking conversations and reflections among students.
The celebration not only honored the essence of World Innovation and Creativity Day but also reinforced IETVE’s vision of building a future-ready, creative, and skilled teachers and innovators.
