WORLD KABBADI CUP 2012: English women Kabaddi team ready to steal show

Chandigarh, December 3, 2012: The English women team, which would step in the World Kabaddi battlefield for the second time, is in highly upbeat mood this time. “During the selection of the English Women Kabaddi Team, there was great enthusiasm among the probable. It was difficult task to finalise the players for the National Women Kabaddi team.” It was disclosed by Ashok Dass, Team Manager, England Women Kabaddi Team.

He said, “After the cut throat fight during the trials, five new players were selected for the Women Kabaddi Team.” Army, Police and Educational professionals are part of this England’s Women Kabaddi Team, he added. Dass expressed hope for better performance in this World Cup Kabaddi as their team was the runner up in the last edition of World Cup Kabaddi. He reaffirmed their commitment to give befitting fight to the rest of women teams in this international event.

Rosy, Captain of English Women Kabaddi Team, said, “Kabaddi matches were hugely admired by the English audience as they chocked the You-tube and other internet medium for watching the matches.”
