World Mushroom Day commemorated by organising various meaningful activities

Jalandhar, October 19, 2021: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) commemorated World Mushroom Day  with full zeal and enthusiasm by organising various meaningful activities. The celebration was organised by PG Department of Botany. More than 50 students enthusiastically participated in various competitions namely E-photography, Painting/ Drawing, Essay Writing, E-poster and Powerpoint presentation competition. An expert talk on ‘Fantastic Fungi’ was also delivered by the faculty members of P.G. Department of Botany. Students of Botany Department also displayed informative and beautiful posters on the theme of World Mushroom Day. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the students for their innovative and creative efforts. Madam Principal also emphasised on conducting more such events in the future for the upliftment of everyone’s well-being. She lauded the efforts of the students and the faculty members of PG Department of Botany for successfully organising the celebrations.
