World Physiotherapy Day observed at CMC Hospital

Ludhiana, September 8, 2018: College of Physiotherapy at Christian Medical College (CMC) and Hospital, Ludhiana in collaboratiom with Indian Association of Physiotherapist (IAP), Punjab organised an event on World Physiotherapy Day today. Students of the college participated in quiz, poster making and declamation competition based on the theme of "#HumFitTohIndiaFit", which was over-seen by the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college. The quiz was conducted by Ms. Eliana Unkles and Ms Rosey Peter maintained the score board. Ms. Eliana Unkles was the judge for the poster making and the declamation competition. Team - Niroys, Sukhjeevan and Anushka ; Ankita; Team- Harnoor, Aditi and Ankita won the 1st prize in quiz, declamation and poster making competition respectively. Brouchers describing preventive measures for common physical ailments were also distributed among the patients on the occasion. Prof. Sandeep S. Saini, Principal (President IAP, Punjab), highlighted that physiotherapy is very important in improving the quality of life and reducing health risks and that College of Physiotherapy will always keep on creating awareness regarding the new advances in the field.
