The channel lines up digital innovations for the premiere on 1 September at 8 PM
India’s first 24-hour movie channel, Zee Cinema, is all set to showcase the World TV premiere of the blockbuster, “Brooke Bond Taj Mahal presents Agent Vinod powered by Blackberry”on Saturday 1st September, 2012 at 8 PM.
Zee Cinema has chosen to promote this premiere through innovations in the digital space. The aim is to inform viewers about the premiere through innovative ways of engagement in a phased digital effort built around the content platforms cherished by young audiences. To engage the online game buffs, an innovative and very interactive game has been created by the channel. It is currently hosted on Facebook(.http://apps.facebook.com/mere-dost-ki-pungi). The game is about playing pranks with one’s friends and is titled “Mere Dost Ki Pungi”, taking off from the popular song “Pungii”from the film. “Besides this, the channel is engaging with the users online by showing `behind the scenes’footages and also highlighting unknown facts about “Agent Vinod”.
The masthead of Youtube will be taken over on 1st September with an interactive creative that will enhance the premiere tune-in, have trailers, behind the scene footage, trivia and the option to play an application. There will be significant take-overs on other major portals like Yahoo and MSN. On the same day, there will also be a Youtube Mobile Roadblock,wherein anyone accessing any video on youtube using their mobile will be able to catch the “Agent Vinod”tune in. The premiere of “Agent Vinod” is being promoted across the biggest DTH players of India - Dish TV and Airtel- along with a robust campaign.
“Agent Vinod” promos have played in 400 cinema screens across 13 major cities (Hindi Speaking Markets) during the screening of Salman Khan’s “Ek Tha Tiger”. The outdoor campaign will continue till 1st September, the day of the TV premiere with prominent hoardings in Mumbai. The on-air campaign of �Agent Vinod�is being played out across the Zee Network, like Zee Cinema, Zee TV, Zee Marathi, Zee Bangla etc., and also across news channels, music channels, Bollywood entertainment channels and kids’entertainment channels.
