`World Thinking Day’ celebrated at Innocent Hearts
Innocent Hearts' five schools (Green Model Town, Loharan, Nurpur, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, Kapurthala Road) celebrated 'World Thinking Day' on the birth anniversary of the founder of Scouts and Guides, Lord Robert Baden Powell, in which the chief guest was Hemant Kumar (State Training Commissioner of Punjab).
Jalandhar, February 22, 2023: Innocent Hearts' five schools (Green Model Town, Loharan, Nurpur, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, Kapurthala Road) celebrated 'World Thinking Day' on the birth anniversary of the founder of Scouts and Guides, Lord Robert Baden Powell, in which the chief guest was Hemant Kumar (State Training Commissioner of Punjab).
The program was started with the flag hoisting. It was followed by march - past by the students of Scouts and Guides. Various games were played by the students with great enthusiasm and joy. A coloring competition was also organized on this occasion. The winning students were awarded.
Principals of respective schools, Scouts Master Kumar Jasdeep Bhullar and Guides Captain Manisha were also present on this occasion. Sharmila Nakra, Deputy Director Cultural Affairs said that World Thinking Day is celebrated every year on February 22, birthday of founder of Lord Robert Baden Powell. By organizing such programs along with education, the students not only remain disciplined but they also get to know the history of their country.
At the end of the program, refreshment was given to the children.
