New Delhi, December 13, 2018: India Yamaha Motor Pvt Ltd.(IYM) has launched the all new ‘Saluto’ (125 cc) and ‘Saluto RX’ (110 cc) equipped with Unified Braking System (UBS) today for all variants of both the products in order to impart further riding excitement. The new ‘Saluto’ (125 cc) equipped with UBS will be available in 4 attractive graphics and colours for both drum and disc variants whereas the new ‘Saluto RX’ (110 cc) with UBS will also feature 4 striking graphics and colours.

The new Unified Braking System (UBS) is a new age braking concept from Yamaha that supports partial application of the front brake simultaneously when the rear brake is applied completely. The UBS enabled motorcycles from Yamaha will now have improved braking controls due to intensification of braking force with the help of the new technology.

The new Saluto with UBS (125 cc) will have an air cooled, 4 stroke, SOHC, 2-Valve engine based on the Blue Core Engine Development ideal and lightest in its class at 114 kg. The disk brake models with UBS have been developed for better controls and reliability. The new Saluto RX with UBS (110 cc) mounts an air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 110cc, 2-valve single-cylinder engine based on the Blue Core Engine Development concept and lightest weight in its class at 99 kg.
