Yoga and meditation started for quarantine people in Parour Centre
The administration starts yoga for everyone in Parour
Dharamshala: Yoga and meditation practice has also been started from today for the people living in Institutional Quarantine Centre (Institutional Quarantine) in Radha Swami Satsang (Beas) at Parour in kangra district of Himachal. The administration has started yoga for everyone in Parour, in order to keep people healthy, fit and to increase their immunity.
Yoga instructors are doing various yoga asanas for about an hour in thev morning. People living in institutional quarantine are appreciating this initiative of the administration on the introduction of yoga and meditation camps along with nutritious food, fruits, milk etc.
Simranjit Janwal, who came to Himachal from Delhi, says that starting here the yoga by the administration is a very commendable and welcome step. Ms Neha Thakur from Panchkula says that with yoga and meditation our immunity will increase and the start of the day will also be improved one. Sunita Devi, who came from Delhi, says that the yoga eradicate disease, she liked that the day here being started with yoga activities. Ankush from Delhi, Ashish from Jawali, Vijay from Panchrukhi and Sunil Kumar from Chandigarh have also praised it and said that it will keep the body healthy and enhance immunity to fight infections like Kovid-19.
SDM Palampur Dharmesh Ramotra said, “The program of yoga and meditation practice has been started at 7 am today under the guidance of Prof Sujit Sroch and Rajneesh Awasthi of Shaheed Vikram Batra Government College, Palampur. 50 people participated in Yoga and Meditation Camp on the first day and everyone said that there should be Yoga daily.”
Ramotra said that people of Kangra District have been kept in institutional quarantine in Radha Swami Satsang Parour , who have returned from Red Zone of different states of the country . The program of yoga and meditation has been started here, so that people living here starts the day with yoga and it will be continued in the coming days, so that people will remain fit and healthy to beat Corona.
He informed that samples of people are being taken by the Health Department in the centre and people getting negative report are being sent to the home quarantine. He said, “ so far about 1200 people have come here from different states and the process of people arriving here every day is still on.”
