Mumbai: Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama is all set to return from 16th December, 8 PM with new stories that blend humor and intellect. The timeless charm of Tenali Rama continues to enchant audiences, while introducing fresh characters who bring a uniqueness to the show. With the addition of four young prodigies—Padmavati, Lachchamma, Bal Bhadra and Vachaspati, the show promises to entertain as Tenali mentors the young generation.

Noted child artists Shreya Patel and Trishaan have been roped in to play the roles of Padmavati and Vachaspati, the two gifted siblings. After being separated from their parents, thirteen-year-old Padmavati took on the role of protector and guide for her younger brother and their group. Clever and confident, she uses her quick thinking and leadership skills to keep them united. Six-year-old Vachaspati, a prodigy with exceptional oratory skills and a photographic memory, adds intrigue with his ability to uncover secrets. Tenali Rama steps in as a mentor, recognizing their immense potential and guiding them to harness their talents to become the protectors of the Vijayanagar Kingdom.

Shreya Patel, playing the role of Padmavati in Tenali Rama said, “Padmavati is such a cool character! I love how confident and clever she is. My mother often told me stories about Tenali Rama, and I’ve always found them so interesting and fun. I never imagined that one day I’d get to be a part of those stories by playing Padmavati in the show. It’s such a special feeling, and I’m really happy I got this opportunity to bring her story to life and learn from her journey with Tenali.”

Trishaan, playing the role of Vachaspati in Tenali Rama said, “Vachaspati is smart and kind. He says things that make you think a lot! It’s so much fun to play someone about whom I have heard stories since childhood. I want everybody to give me a lot of love and request people to watch my show, Tenali Rama.”
