Youth Congress demands judicial inquiry to probe JNU attack
Organized protest march in Garha market
Jalandhar: in a blistering attack on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Delhi Police, the District Youth Congress organized the protest march in Garha market of Jalandhar Cantt Assembly.
Angad Dutta President District Youth Congress (U), Randeep Sandhu Lucky President Jalandhar Cantt along with 150 workers of youth congress marched in the market with black flags and raised anti slogans against RSS and BJP Government.
He accused the central government of sponsoring the recent attack in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). He also alleged that yesterday’s attack on JNU students and teachers happened under the watch of JNU administration and Delhi Police. He demanded the judicial inquiry to probe the whole incident as police is being under control of BJP Government.
During the protest, he said that the entire country witnessed state-sponsored 'goondaism' and terrorism yesterday in the campus of JNU. All this happened under the watch of JNU administration and also Delhi Police which is directly controlled by the Union Home Minister. The brutal attack on JNU students and teachers by masked men is shocking. The fascists in control of our nation, are afraid of the voices of brave youth. Today’s violence in JNU is a reflection of that fear, he added.
He further said that the India has an established global reputation as a liberal democracy. Now, goons are rampaging through the universities, spreading fear among the children, who should be preparing for a better future. It is quiet horrifying to see live telecast of masked men entering JNU hostels and attacking students and teachers of Sabarmati and other hostels.
