Youth to Youth Connect online BIS Orientation Programme held in Doaba College
Students of DCJ Standards Club attended online Orientation programme of “Youth to Youth Connect” organized by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Jammu and Kashmir Branch Office.
Jalandhar, April 13, 2024: Students of DCJ Standards Club attended online Orientation programme of “Youth to Youth Connect” organized by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Jammu and Kashmir Branch Office.
Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari thanked BIS unit, J&K Branch for organizing such informative sessions. He also encouraged students to pass the message of quality products to their family members and friends.
Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Incharge DCJ Standards Unit along with 50 students of DCJ Standards Club attended the orientation programme. Students were introduced to the concept of Indian standards, Product certification, Hallmarking and Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS). The functioning of Quality Connect Application was also demonstrated to students where they can check the authenticity of quality products.
Students were encouraged to disseminate information about standards to common people. Students were also distributed with caps and t-shirts of Standards club provided by BIS unit, J&K Branch.
