Describe Yuvika’s character. 
Yuvika is a young and innocent girl hailing from a small town in India. She has simple aspirations and is not aware of her own true capabilities. However, certain circumstances force her to challenge patriarchy leading to a journey which is both inspiring and empowering. Yuvika, much like me, is still searching for her purpose. However, when the opportune moment arises, she will carve her path through the formidable Mahajan family, combining her dreams, aspirations, and innate talent to shape her own destiny and leave an unforgettable mark on their legacy. 

What inspired you to take on the role of Yuvika in Sony SAB's Vanshaj?
I have always been intentional in selecting characters that convey a message to the audience or ones that I personally resonate with, and Yuvika's character embodies just that. Life sometimes places us in circumstances where we mature or grow up ahead of our time, and I can deeply connect with this as it reflects my own journey. I believe I matured and shouldered responsibilities at a young age, which aligns with Yuvika's trajectory. This character holds great significance as Yuvika challenges patriarchy and proves capability is supreme. Both men and women should be given opportunities based on their potential. It is a role that exudes strength, and I have always been drawn to portraying such characters that inspire and leave a lasting impact on the audience. I am absolutely thrilled and excited to portray Yuvika's character, which possesses a remarkable strength and a relatability factor that resonates deeply.

How did you prepare for the role of Yuvika, a character who undergoes a significant transformation throughout the show?
In my preparation for Yuvika's character, workshops certainly played a part, but personally, I am committed to immersing myself in the script repeatedly to infuse nuanced details that bring the character to life, transcending mere fiction. For instance, Yuvika might freeze in a serious situation or become momentarily lost, unsure of her next move. We have incorporated various elements into Yuvika's character, and honestly, there are numerous layers to her persona. Every day, I uncover something new about the character, continually adding dimensions to enhance its authenticity. Given the multitude of shades within the role, it feels like an evolving task, where the character undergoes changes with each passing day.

How would you describe the combination of family drama, political intrigue, and personal dynamics of a business family in a show? 
As an actor portraying a character in the show Vanshaj, I am thrilled with both the character as well as the concept of the show. Vanshaj dives deep into the intricate web of relationships, power struggles, and emotional conflicts that define a business family. Through the lens of the characters' lives, the show beautifully showcases the complexities and dynamics that exist within a family unit. The personal struggles, ambitions, and betrayals are portrayed with authenticity, allowing viewers to connect with the characters on a deeply personal level.

How do you feel about being associated with Sony SAB?
Being associated with a channel that creates shows for every member in the family is truly noteworthy.
