Zee Punjabi breaks records, becomes biggest general entertainment channel launch

Chandigarh: Zee Punjabi, the first ever General Entertainment Channel (GEC) of Punjab has become one of leading channels of Punjab in first month of its launch. With 31% share in the GEC category in Punjab and 8 out top 10 entertainment shows in Punjab Market being from Zee Punjabi, the channel broke several records.

Launched on 13th January, 2020, the channel has managed to create an impact with the viewers of Punjab.With focus on stories inspired by Punjabiyat, the content includes classic love story of ‘Heer Ranjha’, music reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ featuring Gurdas Maan as mentor and Jazzy B, Sonu Kakkar and Jaidev Kumar as Judges and a skitbased comedy show “Hasdeyaan De Ghar Vasde” with Gurpreet Ghuggi as the host.

The channel offers an extensive line-up of fictional and non-fictional shows including Heer Ranjha,, Khasma Nu Khani, KamliIshq Di, Tu Patang Main Dor and Vilayti Bhabhi etc. In the Non-Fiction genre, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Hasdeyaan De GharVasde,JeeAaya Nu and AajoJineKhedna Hai have also contributed to the successful launch of the channel.
