Just tune into Zee TV's Diwali special episode of ‘Hero Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012’ on 10th November at 9 PM to be treated to performances that will cheer you like nothing else can!  With Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha as celebrity guests to promote their upcoming movie 'Son of Sardar' and  Mahaguru of the week, Gurudas Mann on board, brace yourselves for two hours of unadulterated fun and presentation of awesome talent. The mood was festive, the décor was fresh, costumes were traditional, choice of songs had the hint of festivity… everything on the sets was set to welcome the Festival of Lights!

When contestant Shehnaz sang Taakte rehte tujhko saanjh saware from the movie Dabang to serenade the gorgeous Sonakshi, mentor Wajid took Sonakshi's hand, escorted her to the stage and joined Shehnaz.  After the performance Sajid asked Sonakshi to mouth the famous 'Khamoshhh…!!!’ dialogue like her father!  But she politely refused and said, "I am Sonakshi Sinha, not Shatrughan Sinha. I have my own dialogues."

Mohammad Zain from Lahore, mesmerised  Gurudas Mann by singing his famous chartbuster 'Challa Bedi.'  Gurudas Mann couldn’t stop himself and joined him on the stage. His natural flair, stage presence and control over the band made everybody stand up and give him a standing ovation. The living legend showed no signs of ageing as he had the audiences on their feet enjoying his performance. After his delightful act, Ajay Devgn could not help but comment, "It was an honour to see Gurudas Mann perform live. After watching you perform, its certain that if you love your work dearly, you will never fail in any endeavour."
