ZEE TV- The 3 Generations of Pavitra Rishta dance up a storm at the show’s Ganesh Maha Utsav

You have seen them dance in two’s and three’s, but at the Ganesh Maha Utsav of Pavitra Rishta this year, get ready to see all three generations of the Deshmukh family take to the stage in an act that captures their personal individual styles … Catch Savita Tai, Manav, Archana, Arjun and Purvi shake a leg to popular songs from each of their generations!

Savita Tai and her husband Damodar brought alive the Golden era of black and white films with the now immortal 50’s classic ‘Shaam Dhale Khidki Tale Tum Seeti Bajana Chhod Do’ from Albela. Manav and Archana performed to Asha Bhosale and Kishore’s ‘Ek Main Aur Ek Tu’ from the 70s which brought back memories of a young Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh’s romance from their iconic movie ‘Khel Khel Mein’. The current love birds Arjun and Purvi too weren’t far behind in keeping up with their ‘elders’ on the show. While Purvi was clad in a bright, trendy sari just like Deepika Padukone, Arjun was all suave and handsome as the ‘Ranbir’ to Purvi’s ‘Deepika’. They danced to the catchy ‘Dilliwaali Girlfriend Chhod Chhad Ke’ from ‘Ye Jawaani Hai Deewani’ and made sure they didn’t miss a beat!

The rest of the evening was marked by performances with the rest of the Zee family of stars joining in the celebrations. Be sure to catch Vikrant Massey, Eijaz Khan, Nikhil Chaddha, Mahima Makwana and Kratika Sengar bring the glitz and glamour to the festivities of Pavitra Rishta’s Ganesh Maha Utsav. Also joining the Deshmukh family are Vivek Oberoi, Ritesh Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani who were there to promote their upcoming film ‘Grand Masti’ but not before they shook a leg with all the members of the Deshmukh family as well.

Pavitra Rishta is a show that has been a huge favourite with the audience ever since its launch. Over the years the Deshmukh family has seen many highs and lows but their love for one another has gotten them through it all. Now with Sachin and Gauri’s sangeet being celebrated along with Ganesh Chaturti, Soham realises that he misses having Gauri in his life. But is he about to disrupt his brother’s life in the bargain to find his own happiness?
