If you were surprised with the entry of Akshay Dogra playing the family’s car driver Akash with shades of grey in Zee TV’s Punarvivaah, you are in for some more surprises as the story sees many more dramatic twists and turns with two new characters being introduced in the coming week. Actors Heena Parmar and Dolly Minhas are all set to join the cast and brew trouble in Yash (Gurmeet Chaudhary) and Aarti’s (Kratika Sengar) lives.
In the upcoming track of the show, Yash will find himself being forced to divorce Aarti and marry another woman to save l’il Ansh. Heena Parmar will step in to play the character of Ishita, the handicapped girl whom Yash is forced to marry. Who from within the family has the dark agenda of separating Yash and Aarti and is conniving and contriving to get them divorced? What is their ulterior motive behind getting Yash married to Ishita? Only time will tell!
In the middle of all this madness, the audience will be stumped to see the entry of Dolly Minhaas as driver Aakash’s mother with a tall claim that it isn’t Yash but Aakash who is the true heir to the Scindia family’s riches!

“I am delighted to be cast as Ishita in Punarvivaah … it’s a pleasure to work with talented, established actors like Gurmeet Chaudhary and Kratika sengar on a leading channel like Zee TV. My role, though that of a handicapped girl, will emerge to have shades of grey eventually. It’s a challenge I am looking forward to.”

"Yes, I play a somewhat negative role on the show, but to call my character a villain would be pushing the truth. I believe that my character is only fulfilling her duties as a mother and does what she does out of love for her son. She doesn't see the repercussions of her actions on the rest of the world; but I've heard that being a mother does give you tunnel vision to an extent. I can't wait to see how my character develops onscreen and am looking forward to this new role!" Said Dolly Minhas.
Will Yash divorce Aarti and get married to Ishita? And what motive does Aakash's mother have for showing up out of the blue? There is certainly more to the story than the eye can see. To know what it is exactly, tune in to Punarvivaah every Monday to Friday at 10:30 PM, only on Zee TV.
