Samiksha Jaiswal who plays Mehek in Zindagi Ki Mehek shares, “I share a very cute relationship with my father. We have a lot of nok-jhok between us and if we do not fight atleast once a day, I feel like the day is incomplete. There is always so much light-hearted banter that we exchange on a daily basis. He loves me the most and is immensely proud of all my achievements as he celebrates even the small milestones I achieve. The only people who matter in my life are my parents and like any other girl, even my father is my knight in shining armor who guides and protects me. I really respect him and look up to him This father’s day I won’t be able to meet my father because I am shooting in Delhi but I am planning a vacation to celebrate Father’s day and my mother’s birthday together.”

Rumman Ahmed who plays Pragati in Sethji shares, ‘‘Mothers are always there for emotional support but fathers are always a source of strength. My mom is very emotional about me but my father is very practical and understanding. He has always motivated me and explained everything to me with real examples, practical solutions and so on. He thinks very differently and his values have always inspired me. I am very proud to be his daughter. My father is my best friend and I am blessed to have him in my life. My father resides in Jammu and if I manage to take a break from the shoot, we will meet in Delhi and spend a few days together. I am looking forward to it.”

I want to spend some quality time with him and my family.”

Pranav Misshra who plays Prem Singh Rathod in Aisi Deewangi … Dekhi Nahi Kahi shares, “Father’s Day has always been under-rated. I think fathers are the most important part of any family. He plays multiple roles from being the provider to the protector. I love my father. He has always given me the best and I hardly remember him saying no to me for anything including all my stupid demands. I remember some years ago, I bought a watch for myself in Jaipur during Diwali holidays but I decided to give it to my father out of love. I remember him looking at the watch asking me if it was really a Rado watch and I admitted, it wasn’t. So, just yesterday with Father’s Day around, I gifted him an authentic Rado watch and he was almost in tears!”

Jyoti Sharma who plays Tejaswini Mehta in Aisi Deewangi … Dekhi Nahi Kahi shares “My father is my strength and the shining star who has guided us all through our toughest times. He has supported me throughout my struggle and given me the encouragement I needed to keep going and giving my best. When I first decided to become an actress, I will never forget the way he reassured and motivated me. It helped me set out on my journey with confidence. Because of the kind of love and faith my father has had in me, I have achieved my dream. I want to thank him for all his sacrifices and I hope one day I can give back atleast a fraction of what he has given me. This Father’s day, I want to take him out and treat him for being the best father in the world and making him feel special because he deserves it.”

Sartaj Gill who plays Raja in Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani shares, “A very Happy Father’s day to all the fathers out there! We often don’t value this selfless giving relation and take them for granted. My father created my world for me and made me what I am today. I don’t think I thank my father but I will take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude towards him. Words are not enough to thank dad for all his sacrifices and the unconditional love that he’s showered on me. He has taught me the value of being a good human being above everything else. So, this Father’s day, I would like to take out time to show my father what he means to me and try to give him my time in order to make some precious memories.”

Eisha Singh who plays Rani in Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani shares, “One of the most beautiful things in this world is the relationship a daughter shares with her father. A daughter may outgrow her father’s lap, but she can never outgrow her father’s heart. My father plays an important role in my life and the bond we share is very unique and special. I am where I am because of papa's guidance and there’s great comfort in knowing that he will always be there for me no matter what. When I achieve something, whether its big or small, he is the one person who is overjoyed. I am the apple of his eye and he is my superhero. My father makes me feel like the most important person in the world. This Father’s day, I plan on spending quality time with my father who is in Mumbai for a short trip.”

Nikhil Sabharwal who plays Akshay in Bin Kuch Kahe shares, “Even though my father is an army officer, he is very chilled out and friendly, not the strict army stereotype. I have learnt a lot of things from my father- riding a horse, playing golf, camping in the mountains, trekking with him and I have lived life abiding by his principles. He always told me, ‘Do what your heart says’ and this has helped me throughout - from being a pilot to an actor today, I owe everything to my dad and I feel so proud to be his son. This Father’s day, I plan to order some pastries at home as my father has a sweet tooth.”

Sheen Dass who plays Pooja in Piyaa Albela shares, “My father means the world to me. We watch a lot of movies, hangout together, have dinner, go out shopping just like college buddies. More than a father-daughter equation, we are like friends and share a special bond. Watching old Bollywood films together and dancing to retro songs with him is my favourite thing. My father is in town and I want to make this Father’s day really special for him. I will take my father for a nice dinner and a movie.”

Akshay Mhatre who plays Naren in Piyaa Albela, “Fathers are the superheroes who are meant to protect and teach you about what’s right and wrong without any expectations. Well, that truly defines my dad for me. My dad is my superhero and this father’s day is going to be more special as we both are going to have an amazing time watching the India v/s Pakistan match together.”
