Ziqitza Healthcare Limited extends helping hand with donation of 100 Wheelchairs to PHSC for the people of Punjab
Committed to serve the people of Punjab, Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd. (ZHL), Asia's largest private Emergency Medical Service (EMS) provider, managing 108 Ambulance services in the state for last more than 13 years have donated 100 wheelchairs to the Punjab Health Systems Corporation (PHSC), today.
Mohali, March 14, 2023: Committed to serve the people of Punjab, Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd. (ZHL), Asia's largest private Emergency Medical Service (EMS) provider, managing 108 Ambulance services in the state for last more than 13 years have donated 100 wheelchairs to the Punjab Health Systems Corporation (PHSC), today.
This charitable initiative aims to enhance accessibility and improve the quality of life for individuals with mobility challenges in the government hospitals across 23 districts. The wheelchairs will assist in the mobility of patients in the hospital premises, along with that help mitigate the problem of basic essential hospital equipment’s. The ceremony took place in the presence of Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh, Chairman PHSC Raman Bahl, MD Varinder Kumar Sharma, Director Dr. Anil Goyal, Deputy Director Dr. Boparai, Deputy Director Dr. Sangeeta, Nodal Officer Vishal Garg, Civil Surgeon Dr. Renu, Director Principal Dr. Bhavneet Bharti, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences , DMC Dr. Parvinderpal Kaur, 108 Ambulance Project Head Manish Batra.
Expressing his gratitude and emphasizing the invaluable contribution of Ziqitza Healthcare Limited Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh ji said, “I really appreciate and thanks Ziqitza for their services. Ambulance services has a very eminent role in case of emergencies and reaching at the location in the golden hour to provide critical care. I really commend Ziqitza for donating 100 wheelchairs, this initiative will greatly benefit hospital staff and patients alike. Wheelchair is one of the life-saving equipments which aids transporting patients to emergency services in the hospitals, especially in case of fractures, or handicapped patients. Such acts of social welfare create a more inclusive and supportive healthcare environment for everyone.”
