Zonal cricket tournament declared open at Innocent Hearts School, Loharan

Jalandhar, September 3, 2019: Innocent Hearts School, Loharan became a venue for the Zone-2 Cricket Tournament. The sports teams of different schools got registered. The tournament was declared open by releasing multihued balloons by the Chief Guest, Barinder Kaur, Principal of Government Senior Secondary School, Ladowali Road, Jalandhar. Daljeet Singh Rahi was the Guest of Honour and Amrinderjit Sports Incharge (Doaba Khalsa Sr. Sec. School) was the special guest of the program at Loharan School stadium. In total, 29 schools got their teams registered U- 14, 16, 17 & U-19. The Chief Guest of the day, Barinder Kaur motivated the students to play and to make themselves agile. Nine Schools got them registered U-14 category. Besides this a match was played between teams of Mayor World and La-Blossom. La-Blossom won the toss and chose to bat, second match was between MGN Urban Estate & Parvati Jain School. Principal Loharan Shallu Sehgal and Principal GMT Rajeev Paliwal presented souvenirs to the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour. Sanjeev Bhardwaj HOD Sports and coach Amit Sharma welcomed all the guests and gave best wishes to one and all present there.
